Please help with simple measurement.

I am looking for various peoples measurements on the ID of the ogive comparator for a 338 bullet. Not able to find one in stock at my usual places and I'm just going to chuck one of the smaller ones up and make one for a .338

Consider the barrel you're using. Bartlien barrels list the bore diameter at .330, this is where your Ogive will make its first connection with the lands. Speculating that you're using a Bartlien, I'd chuck your comparator up and bore a .330 hole.
