Since there's so many ballers here with ultra 5s, 7s, 9s and 338s. How much zero difference is there when you switch from say a 5 to 338. Or a 9 to 338. Is the zero pretty close?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Should be pretty close. The more the weight changes the more of a shift you may see.
Is the POI predictable when the suppressor is taken off and reinstalled? Or do you have to check zero when the suppressor is mounted each time? I have an AAC SD and I need to rezero each time I put the suppressor on. I’m looking to upgrade to a suppressor that is predictable.

Are you saying it doesn't shoot at the same spot when you have the can on each time? Most cans are going to change your zero but it should move to the same spot
Yes, it’s a 51t adapter. The suppressor is quite enough, I just don’t care for the mounting system. This was my first suppressor, I’ve learned a lot since I purchased it. If I had a do over, I’d go with an Ultra 9. I’m sure I would be happy with one.Is that the one with the junk ratchet mount?
If so I think people have had better luck with the newer extra teeth mounts and or filing the mount so it fits correctly
Once you zero with an Ultra on you should be able to take can on and off as much as you like and not change zero at all.
Here is a video with the SR mount
Here is the Ultra series
I finally get your question lol weight of can could be the reason for more shift if it has any. But out of curiosity I must ask why 338 and 9? Doesn’t seem like enough of a difference to justify switching between the two on one host. If I could buy all over again and wanted 2 different “mission specific” precision cans. I’d do either a 338 or 9 and an ultra 5.Yes but I am going to have a 338 and ultra 9. In your experience has the POI been close when swapping the 2? Thanks
That’s what I did. I did it not only to see shift change, but to see accuracy change. Since that gun shoots pretty much only factory ammo I knew that the different weight of difference suppressors would affect harmonics and accuracy. They are pretty close. Not all barrels react the same to weight. I'll try to shoot them all at 100 this week and document Ultra 5 through 338 shift on a 308 or 6.5
