Several republicants are already backpedaling. They are saying that even if they control the house and the senate there's little they can do because biden is still the president and has veto power.

I seem to remember that there were 9 republicants on the house intel committee and they all heard that closed door testimony from clapper, comey and the rest that the Russian hoax was a hoax. But they didn't do a damned thing. What did the republicants do when they had complete control? Over turn kenyan care? Nope. Did they cut spending? Nope. Use the funds already approved to build the wall? Nope. The list is endless of what they didn't do. But they did spend money like it was an unlimited supply.
Do I think that desantis will be different from any other republicant? Nope.
I am tired of the republicants slowly turning up the heat on the boiling pot. At least the democraps tell you to your face. So I will sit back and watch this election and the great cheer for the red wave. Then watch them do jack shit to stop anything. I've been deceived by then for the last time.

As a libertarian I can't help but agree, but after nearly 100 years of people being fed disinformation, you can't expect them to turn on a dime. Dems want pedal to the floor towards socialism, repubs are content with cruise control.
Libertarians want to change lanes, but they absolutely suck at marketing.
Boil the frog slowly also works in reverse.

Drag Queen ‘Family Fun’ Story Hour at Jewish Community Center

A Wisconsin Jewish Community Center is set to host a drag queen story hour about social justice for kids aged 2 to 5 years old on November 13 as part of a “Family Fun Day.”

Jewish community leaders have objected to the event, claiming the Drag Queen Story Hour organization running it is promoting values contrary to their faith’s teachings on cross-dressing.

“That, of course, is the least of the digressions from Judaism promoted by this group,” said Coalition for Jewish Values boss Rabbi Yaakov Menken. “It has no place in front of vulnerable children, and certainly not in a Jewish setting.”

A thing happened to me today.

Without any preceding conversation at all, a 70 (something) grandmother looked at me and asked "Why hasn't anyone shot that bastard Biden yet?".
Hmm.
I could not think of a good response.

Later I went to fill my gas tank as I try to keep it right at the full mark in case gas prices jump overnight (as I am expecting soon).
I bought a single $5 lottery scratcher as I sometimes do, just for shits and giggles.
I won $500 off that scratcher today :)
In all honesty it's not all that much money....but who couldn't use a spare $500 ?

I understand that politicians are powerless without the police. Most of us agree the fed police are terrorists yet local LEO continue to work side by side with these men. Considering the state of affairs, why would any sane man back the blue at any level considering they work as a unit as does all levels of gov’t as a whole.

To be honest and fair.
You cannot give an honest reply to that here on this site without jeopardizing both yourself and Frank the spank (hmfic).
It would probably result in the site being taken down at least temporarily....if not permanently.
So to give nothing direct as a response is the correct way to go about it.

It has been my experience that most of the time, everything preceding the word "but" is bullshit or failure to accept ones actions and everything following it is the real thought of a person. The reality of this is that the cuck is not sorry for people losing their job or scaring people or shutting down the economy, he is just too much of a cunt to say what he really thinks.

I recall seeing an online EV commercial that depicted this very thing. The dad runs out in a storm and connects an extension cord to his EV and the house lights come on. Not exactly new tech other than tapping into battery storage as opposed to running a generator. Oh by the way, you can buy yourself an inverter to connect to an ICE and power your house the same way by turning your vehicle into a generator. Bonus, you can get more gas and run the power infinitely longer and not end up with an electric vehicle that cant go anywhere after the storm.

Edit to add: If you ever have to do this, TURN OFF YOUR MAIN BREAKER! so you don't back feed power into the main line killing the linemen while they work on it.
