As for ONE issue causing the WHOLE mid-term loss, no, there were many causes the Republicans lost and most can be attributed to RINOs, Cocaine Mitch and election shenanigans.

I think Plan B should be offered whenever a rape kit is done. The problem is, how many women don't go and report it immediately. There is still tremendous shame today in being rape victim, that's largely a product of defense attorneys (like Killary) and twisted prosecutors.

For someone as yourself with LE background, and understanding how life-altering rape usually is, I can't fathom why you wouldn't be supportive of rape/incest (and danger to health of mother) exceptions. You are absolutely correct that someone doesn't "get over" rape in 9months, or even a lifetime; you are also correct that rape/incest accounts for (much less) that 2% of abortions, but that is even more reason to allow the exception. It is killing of the secondary victim, to decrease emotional and physical burden to the primary victim. (I prefer to distinguish killing from murder. Sometimes killing is justified, even if the individual being killed is innocent). I know some women do have religious convictions that allow, even "force" them to bear a child conceived in these circumstances, but I have never heard of a raped woman say "gee I wish someone had forced me to keep the fetus of that guy who raped me". The process of carrying a fetus to term and delivering it takes tremendous physical and emotional toll on the mother; I don't think it is our right to make a rape victim suffer more by insisting this happen for the sake of hard and fast anti-abortion law. Forcing a female to carry a product of rape to term is torture of the victim. Maybe if you were a woman you see things differently. We are supposed to be a civilized society, rape shouldn't even happen, but it does. Maybe if there were stiffer penalties for rape there would be less of it. In fact, some rapists should get the death penalty, especially when the victim is underage or multiple women have been affected.

Your analogy to an office worker who doesn't like a co-workers perfume is illogical. I can't see that argument at all.
