I have read it multiple times to try and understand how letting them be taken back to her is going to solve it. No way could I live with myself knowing I let my kids be taken away and murdered or raped while I stood by and did nothing.
Or you know don't be cheapskates, give folks top notch phones and other computing devices, paid for by the company and tell them carry both, use your personal phone for personal stuff, uses your work phone for work stuff.

The good folks are way too happy to sit back after a single triumph and enjoy the good life and not want to fight anymore all the while making compromises and allowances for evil and sin because it's easier than doing the hard work of fighting.

The true servants and worshipers of the Illuminated One (not the stupid fools acting out stuff they read in old Catholic books) have been working hard for generations towards their end goal of bringing all humanity under the rule of the Illuminated One. They don't care about laws, they control the laws, they don't care about money, they control the money, they don't have any problems with all this morals or conscience stuff, they are built on hate, fear and obedience to the will of the Illuminated One.
All this "societal decay" and "moral decay" and the stirring up of hatreds and beating the drums of anger, violence and war against your fellow man, along with all this preaching "redolence" and "live and let live" for truly wicked sins, all is part of a singular plan to drag down everything that was once good and strong until nothing can stand in their way and the masses are too weak and corrupted of mind to stand against them.
The next turn is the great sequence of events designed to make humans lose faith in their governments, their religions, their future, their leaders. Then when folks are broken, desperate and without hope or direction, they will show humanity the path of salvation by following the teachings of the Illuminated One.
Most of the peoples of the world will embrace the Illuminated One as their saviour.
Good folks could stop this, good folks could have stopped this but they didn't and they won't because they are too short sighted, too easily led astray, too eager to choose the easy path, too lazy, didn't want to be thought bad of, were too busy fighting each other over stupid stuff, and were too easy to manipulate.

Fight all you can, but at best, at this point it's a delaying action trying to hold the tide for as long as possible so the good folks who actually have their eyes open, have time to prepare in haste and build their keeps and be prepared for the dark days that WILL come, so they can survive through the dark times.
