I re-send his office’s canned reply to my contact after his 2A douchebaggery last year, back to myself every so often as a reminder that I‘m gonna do everything in my power to primary Cornyn’s ass out of office. Will retire again if I have to, to make getting him out my full-time job.
Don’t know if I’ll be able to stomach the thought of voting (D) as an alternative… But as you point out, what’s the difference? At least with a Democrat you know what you’re getting.

Certainly helped to lower the unemployment figures.

We have turned a corner where life is as cheap as it was during the middle ages. I'm not talking about the killing so much as the callousness of man's heart regarding the issue. If we think abortion is a terrible sacrifice, just look around. Murder is not regarded as much more than a misdemeanor. At this point someone will try to bring back heated iron idols and hollow bronze bulls - and get away with it under religious freedom.
I am not sure what is actually allowed in the Canadian laws for this.
But, when it comes to the terminally ill. Should they get a choice? To suffer for months or to die with dignity? I have had family that decided not to go forth with the radiation and chemotherapy and just suffer through to the end. I've had family choose the radiation and chemotherapy and suffer twice as long and still died.
It's a tough choice for someone to make. Nevermind someone making it for you
