Now I understand in Arkansas if you have a concealed permit , you have to inform them your carrying. If you rely on the Constitutional Carry route , you don’t have to.
When I got stopped all i knew then was you could carry if you were on a journey , which is vague. That’s no longer in place.
Regardless , I still think I handled it right at the time. Arkansas State Police don’t play nice , nor give warning tickets for going over 20 mph above the limit. I didn’t want my gun and car impounded , so it ended alright.

I almost got canned myself. And I know several people who did not want to get the shot; but as a single parent or young person just starting out it was either get it or get fired. That's a tough predicament since most don't have enough "fuck you" money.
Had more people just said "fuck you" they wouldn't have gotten away with it. It was truly the Atlas Shrugged opportunity. But, the "press", I mean the Communist Party Propaganda machine, never reported on anything other than the Communist Party line. The commies have invaded nearly every single gov't agency (espicially like CDC) and the "press" wouldn't dare buck them.
I too was paranoid about the "lethality" of it; took mega precautions. But after a month, and no dead bodies on the street I figured...eh, it's a high-powered flu. Now, don't get me wrong, I maintained high alert for people coughing, washed my hands, etc, etc....just like I've always done and continue to do. And yes, I freaked out a bit when I had it (the first time with the MASSIVE headache). But, it was the ensuing sinus infection that kicked my ass - as usual.
All this though, I continue to be disappointed by the number of Christian Churches that failed to stand up for their right to worship. Force should have been met with (you name it). NO Church should have been forced to close their doors. There is zero question to anybody with more than 1 active neuron that this was a violation of Our First Amendment. Yet, even Churches backed down to the Gov't. All a test mind you, to see how much the populace would submit.
And yet, nobody is out in the proverbial pit mine breaking down rocks. Until we get serious about hard-time or even death penality for some of these crimes (sedition, treason) this will be a never-ending story.

Not sure if I was successful, but I intentionally didn't make any comments about those that were strong armed into either taking the shot, or losing their jobs. That was a very unfair situation to put those people in and it would have been equally unfair for me to criticize those that felt they had no other choice, capitulated and took the shot "to save their job". They have families to support and bills to pay. To try and strong arm people in that position is despicable.
I was in a similar situation with my employer and the statement was made to me that I needed to get the shot. I even had a number of co-workers that told me that I needed to "take one for the team"
. Fortunately, I was working in a remote position/didn't have to go into the office and long story short, I found a way of not having to get the shot. However, the wife and I discussed it and if my employer would have "made the shot mandatory as a condition of continued employment", I would have refused to do so and if they would have fired me, I would have sued. Not sure if I would have been successful, but I think the threat of a lawsuit would have backed them off. My name would have probably been mud for as long as I continued to work for them, but I was NOT going to get the shot under any circumstances.Yeah, it was the "sheep" that I was referring to, general comparison along the lines of who you describe (but not limited to) above. Yes, if everyone would have just said "fuck you", I think the whole CV-19 subject would have withered up and blown away a lot sooner than it did. Conversely, I still see people today running around wearing masks. I treat it as "none of my business", just like my "immunization status" is none of anyone else's business.
