My Roku tv asked me tonight if I wanted to be tracked…everything targeted….Old Ted really wasn’t wrong that we don’t have the moral capability for technology….or morals as a country which should follow COTUS are non-existent.
I have noticed that the Roku is always listening. If I talk about a scissor lift Jack guess what pops up while I’m trying to watch a YT video on 3I Atlas? Yup. Not sure why a huge celestial body needs a spare tire and a jack, but whatever. I mean, you just never know.

Glad I didn’t mention anything about retort stills. Wait, here we go…

"Exantus, a former dialysis nurse, was sentenced to only 20 years in 2018 for assault charges because a jury found that he was not guilty of murder by reason of insanity, WLKY reported."

He only went to jail for assualt. NOT murder......... This story fell from the news cycle pretty quickly..
A kids dead by this POS's hand, and he was found NOT guilty.

Or you could do like me, don’t buy one of those stupid mother fuckers.

I just received an email from them about 'finding lost animals' and using our cameras to follow Frodo...was going to post. They really think we're stupid (59% probably are, but I digress).

"Search Party" lololol

The picture of the billionaire and his dog was a nice touch.

Hello Neighbor,
I’m proud to introduce Search Party, a new feature coming soon to Ring that helps reunite lost dogs with their families. Our mission at Ring is to make neighborhoods safer and as someone who loves their dog “almost” (well, maybe equal, but not sure I’m supposed to say that) as much as my human family members, pets certainly deserve to be part of this mission.
Here’s how it works: When a neighbor reports a lost dog in the Ring app, those with outdoor Ring cameras start a Search Party. Using AI to look for possible matches, your outdoor cameras will notify you if they spot what might be the missing dog. Ring will show you a picture of the lost dog and relevant camera footage. With Ring’s Search Party, your privacy is always in your control. You can ignore the alert, or choose to be the neighborhood hero and share the info with your neighbor in need.
What to expect: We’ll be upgrading outdoor Ring cameras with Search Party, rolling out in November. When Search Party is available in your area, your outdoor cameras will let you know when they spot a potential missing dog and you choose if you want to share relevant videos. You can always turn off Search Party on your outdoor Ring cameras in the Ring app’s Control Center. We hope to include cats in the future.
The features we’re rolling out at Ring are designed to assist in supercharging neighbors helping neighbors. Search Party will be free for anyone to use in the neighborhood. We believe that every dog deserves to be found, even if their owner bought the wrong camera :). Simple, privacy-first features like Search Party make it easier to look out for each other and build the kind of neighborhood we all want to live in.
Thank you for working to make our neighborhoods safer for all of us — including our pets.

I feel really bad having to do this lately; however, while drinking my morning coffee, as with every issue plaguing the world today, I fire up the Interwebs to see what could be behind Ring trying to save the puppies and look for "familar faces."

Gaetz is out in public a fair amount in the Niceville, FL area. My SIL and his FIL have seen him and spoke with him on more than one occasion at one of the local breweries. Both are pretty hard core conservatives and they ended up liking him.

Matt is not shy about throwing shade on the establishment and throwing a bullshit flag on dumbass shit.

you can't make this shit up.

An entitled passenger triggered chaos on a plane when she blocked the aisle and refused to move while others were trying to disembar
The flight attendant, trying to de-escalate the conflict, suggested the woman step aside and wait for her daughter to make her way to the front.
'Why they can't let her come pass?' she snapped back, as passengers jumped in once again, trying to explain that she came from the back of the plane, and it would make no sense for her daughter to cut through as well.

If I owned that Airline she would be banned for life.

Well i wish to hell Trump would use his plenary authority already... in several areas. haha
Plenary authority is a legal term for a power that is complete and absolute within a specific domain, with no limitations. The word "plenary" derives from the Latin word plenus, meaning "full". For public officials, the more common term is plenary power.

Key characteristics of plenary authority
  • Absolute and unqualified: When a person or body has plenary authority over a subject, their power is considered absolute within that area. For example, the U.S. Congress has plenary power over interstate commerce.
  • Broadly construed: The authority is wide-ranging and often virtually unlimited for all practical purposes.
  • Subject to checks and balances: In the U.S. legal system, plenary authority is not truly limitless. It must operate within the constraints of the Constitution, including the separation of powers, congressional statutes, and judicial interpretations. This prevents any single branch from wielding total control.

Plenary power vs. plenary authority
While the terms are often used interchangeably, the Legal Information Institute at Cornell Law School notes a slight distinction:
  • Plenary authority refers to a government official having complete control over a particular matter.
  • Plenary power is the more common term used when referring to a public official or a governing body.

Example in U.S. constitutional law
A notable example is the federal government's plenary power over immigration and nationality policy. Historically, this power has been interpreted to grant Congress and the President broad authority in this area, with limited judicial review. This power is considered a matter of sovereignty and has been used to justify various immigration policies over the years.
