Rifle Scopes Possible Super Sniper Issue

I was removing the sunshade on my 3-15x42 and I noticed that the whole objective was unscrewing. I backed it out passed the o-ring before I noticed.
Did I lose the nitrogen charge? Should I return it to SWFA or should it be ok?
I've had it since 2015

Funny story; the same thing happened to me years ago with an IOR scope. I sent it in, and Valdada accused me to intentionally disassembling the scope to gain proprietary construction knowledge.

It was a good thing Scott went to bat for me.

Send it back, they don’t care if you ran it over with your truck, they’ll replace it.
