So the 6.5 PRC, 300 PRC.....
These cases seem to be quite popular...
I know they’re born from a 375 Ruger... Same with Gunwerks 7mm powerhouse..

My main question is, Has anyone cut a 338 PRC chamber yet? (338-375R)
How did it perform?
I’m sure there are not many long throated reamers floating around..

I’m very curious on MV with 250-300 grn bullets. And how well it played with mag legnths and restricted case capacity. And case life..

Has anyone gone down this path??

Yep many years ago. At that time it was called a 338 AI. AI for Accuracy International. I did the barrel work. Hornady loaded the ammo for the PSRI submission. I got reamers and dies just laying here. If my memory is correct the loading was 285's around 2600 FPS. The marketing line was you get 80% of the performance of a Lapua at 60% of the cost. Makes a helluva hunting round with 225's.
