Precision Rifles.....show em!!

I’ll be scouting there again soon.
I found some nice out to 600 yard opportunities but have a couple spots I need to check for longer shots.
Yeah. This spot I can basically shoot from 600 to 1000.

Doing some mix and matching.

KRG Bravo chassis with enclosed forend. Will probably be repainted and or sold. But this has been a solid shooter in my hands.
Its a blueprinted R700 with a Shilen barrel chambered in 6.5x47L.

I took advantage of the Black Friday sales and treated myself to the MPA BA Comp chassis and an Anarchy swept bolt and knob. Also got a SS bolt shroud coming from Atlasworxs.

Rifle is a Tikka T3x CTR 6.5 Creedmore in the Tungsten colored MPA chassis with a Vortex Razor Gen II 4.5-27x56 mounted with Vortex rings. Also sporting the Atlas Bipod for now. Suppressor is an old Silencerco 7.62 Specwar. This time next year it will have a dedicated 6.5 TB Ultra 9 on it. I already have a rifle named "Night Stalker" so this guy is called........"Grey Ghost" ?.

Rifle I built while in gradschool at 31... Remington 700 SPS action .308 (ADL tactical). Grayboe Ridgeback stock. The trigger is a tuned walker and floorplate came off of one of my late father's former rifles. Leupold Vx3i with M2 Turrets, seems to track well. Leupold rings and 20 moa base. Killed the deer at 1k with it at Harry Jones memorial Range....

You poor man. Your gunsmith fucked up and installed the bolt handle on the wrong side.

The big stick. My Mark13 mod5 style build is now bolted to a KRG Whiskey-3 generation 5 chassis. And honestly I like the ergos of it a lot more than the AICS. My hands are just a tad big for the AICS AT pistolgrip.
Its a blueprinted and rebarreled Remington 700 police, MARS rail, Nightforce scope and rings, Bix ´n andy 2-stage trigger. Stuff like that.

My first foray into a decent long range rig. Remington 700 LTR, with the action blueprinted and bedded to the 700P stock. Optics were just what I had on hand at the time.

Gonna be building a 300 Win Mag as soon as I find a decent action for it.

Incase you are looking for smaller cheek rest knobs, I swapped mine for these.

I had my AAC-SD out for the first time in a long time over the weekend, I'd put my NF 2.5-10 on it and got it zero'ed up. With M118LR seconds she still put up a 15 shot average of about 5/8" at 100 yards. I just bought an auxiliary plate for my other AX AICS, so I may have to get another one for this rifle too.

Love everything about this set up and save for the bolt knob it was basically all just bolted together.

That rifle needs a bit of cerakote love ;).
I have mine cerakoted like this.

6mm Dasher, new cartridge and rifle, initial loads showing promise with 4166 and 105 Bergers.

The March High Master scope's really nice. Love the Gunwerks stock feels just right. Short throw on the Deadline action's slick

Great looking bolt knob, where can a guy get one made?

Not sure about getting one made but I got mine from Anarchy Outdoors. Seems like both were $20 during their sale. The grenade model has sharp edges, thought about sending it back but for the price I'll just deburr it myself.

You shoot PRS with it? Or what are your uses for it? She's sick by the way!

Hey mate. Thanks. PRS is a bit difficult in Australia.....not a lot of it or involves a lot of travel. Do some 22LR PRS at local range which s fun. It’s mainly a range/fun gun but will do a few F class type comps we have over here next year. Take away on trip with the fellas next year too, but is pretty heavy with the beefy barrel.
Cheers.

What caliber is that?
I like the look of that chassis, but the listed weight might be a bit much - unless the caliber is something that needs a bit of extra heft.

It’s a 6br. It’s my match gun. No weight kit yet so it’s a little light for my preference but the feel is great.

I know, I don't mind it really, I can shoot the Starlight bays and play around with everything from my .22 to my .308 and then go down to the tactical bays and play around with my pistol and make a good day of it. I can get my long range fix on Frontier Sundays and matches too.

The Desmond tripod and head worked pretty well, I was pretty consistent in ringing the 12" plate along the back berm. I need to break out the paint pens and mark the legs for sitting, kneeling, and standing.

First attempt at a PRS style rifle (on a budget). R700 action with KRG Bolt lift, krg bravo, Harris 6-9 bipod, swfa fixed 12x, 26in Criterion MTU contour barrel chambered in 6BR (wearing APA LB), Triggertech Special flat blade, and MDT 6BR mag.

The group was from my last load development. 5 shot group, the one on the left was a called flyer. The tear in the target that ruined my group was from a gun shooting an ar15 at a target stand @ 50 yards. It went full auto on him and a round hit the stand support and keyholed my target.
