precision rifles... show em

Cosmo,

How long is that barrel? 18''?

Is that a 4-16x pst on the rifle as well?

Got this back from PCR not long ago but have since switched the AI 1.5 skins out for Viperskins and dropped an optic on top.

AICS 1.5 Chassis
Bighorn Action/lug
Timney trigger
Bartlein 20" 5R, threaded, 1/10twist, M24 contour
Cerakote FDE
USO 3.2-17, larue 111 mount

Added some krylon to the KRG chassis as well

Did some update work and Cerakote on two personal rifles. Pictures aren't the best, the lighting in the new basement isn't really photo-friendly.

Added a Muscle Brake, re-did the bolt stop and Cerakoted 50/50 FDE/Sniper Gray

Barrel shortened to 20", installed a PRI style brake, Cerakoted a custom mix that ended up looking like Icon Gray, with the same 50/50 mix as above on the small parts.

Carl Gustaf 3000 Sporter, 6.5x55, laminated valnut wood stock. Built on Sauer 80 LA. EAW rail. Factory brake.

Possibly the fastest doubletap boltaction rifle ever made.

That's bad ass! Can you give me some more info on it? I'm not familiar with these rifles. It's a Sauer action? The thing looks super sexy! I kind of figured those would be an interference fit. Seems like a lot of Euro mfr's go for the interference fit, but I have no idea why. I'd love to build on my Steyr SBS action, but guess what, it's an interference fit. DOH!

Weighs 3.7kg as shown (8lbs 2oz for you guys)
Chambered in 7mm super scream the bigger sister of my screamer
28" shilen #3 1n9
Fires 180 hybrids at 3440fps
On one of my ti actions

Now its got to go an shoot some rather than to the range:p

Here is my newest addition to the family, it is a 6.5 SAUM built on a Remmington 700 Long Action, Rock Varmint Contour barrel, JP recoil eliminator brake, Jewel Trigger, McRee Chassis, posed on a Harris bi-pod, (I broke the front sling stud during assembly after cerakote...may put a rail up there and do another Atlas) Really like how the finish came out! Had a new extractor and bolt knob done by a local smith, Extreme Ventures here in Vegas, really happy with their work as well! Looking forward to putting this thing through its paces. Will post a range report once I find a load that it likes, I have done some digging on here and stolen a few to try! :)

My Remington 700 Composite, AIAX chassie, Spuhr mount, Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 MRAD, ATLAS BIPOD.

It seems to like Nosler 50grains ballistic tip. Getting more of those loaded up for future range days.

My new SAC 300wm. First day on the range getting barrel broke in and testing handloads. I shot a 1.187" group at 200yds, not bad for starters.

Nice Tui_Man as always. You build one heck of a gun, like my .260

The action is the same as the Colt-Sauer rifles sold in the US. The action has rear locking lugs and the barrel is threaded to the action. The rear locking lugs shortens the bolt throw and the action come from the factory as the slickest boltaction ever. Not even a Krag can compete.

The CG3000 Sporter is originally made for moving target competitions, running deer and running moose. On running deer there is an event called doubles were you have to doubletap the deer target. The fast moving deer target is visible for 4.7sec and leade is 6.5mil/22moa. In the early 90'ies a Swedish Olympic class shooter, in training for the Nordic champs. at Bisley UK, put 5 shots in the X (app 4" @100m) in one run( 4,7sec) with an identical rifle. He did it several times. Unbelievable shooting.

Started life a 5R mil-spec.
My intention was to purchase a rifle that exhibited very good accuracy from the outset and build from there.
The 5R delivered in spades, the stock barrel shot very well, but was a bit funky with suppressor attached.

Trued 700 stainless steel action
Old style Rem trigger
side bolt release
custom recoil lug
schnieder 5p 11 twist .308, SR60 contour finished at 24"
XLR Chassis
20 MOA steel base
IOR 3-18x42 in low IOR steel rings
Not in photo - Jet .300 WM titanium suppressor

All work done by Mike at Jet Suppressor's
spray painted by yours truly.
was going to have it gun koted, but decided that I was going to mpaint it anyway, so i went without.

how do I start my thread or my own post (ask to show pics, ask question so people can post answers on my thread, etc.)

Sam

P.S. im not a real navyseal

Made by a company called Accra Liance Sniper system, I have all original paperwork but can't find anything about them on the WWW.

According to my paperwork, four of these were made for a swat team in Florida. About 10 years later they upgrades and put the four up for auction on a federal auction site. a guy I know found them, bid on one of them, won it, shot it for about a year, then sold her to me. I have since replaced the Leupold 10X for the IOR 3.5X18 that sits on it today. Awesome gun, I love to shoot it.

My newest, built by Straight Shot Gunsmithing. A 30/375 S.I. built on a remmy coated in titanium and black KG Kote. 26" brux plus his brake.

New Build Finally Complete

Well she's finally done! Started with a Savage 10 FCP McMillan in 308 (black stock in pics below). Never fired a shot and gave her to Tooter Meredith at Meredith Rifles in Athens, AL. He put on a Bartlein 30" whitley medium palma with a 1:10 twist and a target crown and a match chamber, pillar bedded the action, trued the action, installed a Karsten cheek piece, and cerakoted the barrel, action, mounts, base, bolt, bottom metal and stock. (dark earth in pictures). Oh yeah, and he rechambered and recrowned the factory barrel too. Tooter guarranteed half moa with match ammo but when I picked it up he told me he was hoping for quarter moa. He didn't disappoint! Finished OCW testing today and she shot .26 moa at 100 with 42.6 gr of IMR 4064, SMK 175 HPBT, lapua brass and CCI BR2 primers. And that was off a bipod with a squeeze bag! Can't wait to stretch it out and see what she can do.

My USMC M40A5ish clone. Originally built by D.D Ross as an A3, Phoenix Custom Rifles upgraded to A5 (minus the Surefire break)

Hope you guys like it, i've got $39.99 +tax into this baby. Plus some custom stock and iron sight work done by my smith. I forgot the name of his company but here is a video of him doing more of his fine work on another rifle.

And here is a pic of the super cool mil-dot reticle, just like the one snipers use.
