I know primer dimples aren't great for primers but my hand
primer rod has a small nipple on the top part and is leaving
little dimples like the middle primer in picture below.
I know dimpled primers can lead to misfires from the firing
pin and creating a miss fire. But is this really show stopping to
have a small dimple or just an eh not pretty but it should
still fire properly with out a round failure.. I'm not too
worried but my cousin kinda made it seem like this is a major deal.
(Shooting 175g SMK HPBT 308 win. using Varget powder and CCI 200 primers from a Remington 700 SPS tactical bolt action rifle)
