Hey guys, new guy here...

Tried searching the forum and since I didn't find what I was looking for I decided to join and post so here goes;

Is there anything on the market today that is comparable to the sadly discontinued 5.11 "Chest Rig"?

It looks like a molle chest rig so any molle pouches should attach just fine.

Lol I apologize for completely misreading your question lol. As was stated there is a wide range of things available these days.

This may be available through your local dealer/distributor. I just visited my local gun shop on Saturday, which was a 5.11 Tactical sponsored customer appreciation day. I strapped one of those chest rigs to my son - looked good to me.

I like all the suggestions you posted, just one small problem...size! In this scenario size DOES matter and so far I have yet to find anything like it...let me explain;

The one thing I love about the 5.11 rig is it's very small size and light weight - all the options you listed are a LOT bigger, bulkier, heavier i.e. not looking for a "full size" bibb and/or chest harness...I'm looking for something small in size say maybe 4-6 of the 33 round factory Glock magazines in a chest carry configuration that is easy/comfortable to carry and easily can be hidden under a normal sweatshirt/light jacket etc.

If any of you [danager?] should find a new one [preferably the flat dark earth but not a must, do want it to match and all that] let me know and I'll send you a money order and/or buy it from you cash what ever...last I heard they where around $25-30 each!

The shop I visit is looking up the VTAC long range sling and a B&C stock for me. When I hear back from them, I will see what their price is on it.

I'm guessing 4-6 Glock 17's would be to heavy for EDC.

Sorry for the long delay, here is the situation;

I got a spinal/neck injury a few years ago and am now a disabled veteran in a wheelchair...as such I can not use regular kydex to have my magazines on my belt...being seated all the flipping time makes me very easily cold not to mention i am now skin and bones =[

I have looked at and tried different carry systems but the one I mentioned above would allow me to go to the range like I want and to put on a fleece and/or shell if I want too, takes up little to no room under my clothes...the mag sizes is just cause it's a bit of a hassle to constantly having to move from reloading location off the line and then back again, so what I am lazy =]

I'm still looking for any and all help of finding a black OR dark earth colored 5.11 chest rig and if you have one for sale plz send me a private message and I will provide you with more contact info.
