Hey guys I did a search about this stuff, but only came up with about one thread... not much info. I am going to try some of this in my target AR that is a 20" rra national match upper... I guess its a lothar walther barrel. Its a 1/8 twist also.

I am buying it because I want to use it at these matches that we do where we shoot steel targets under 100 yards and then paper targets no further than 300. So, personally i didnt want to waste my precious handloads by blasting them into steel at 45 yards.

Anyways, what do yall think of this stuff? how accurate has it been for you? If I have it, im probably going to try shooting it at distance... maybe up to 600 to see what happens... anyone shot it at distance?

The Priv. shoots 3/4 moa out to 600 in a RR NM gun my buddys kid shoots at CMP matches. Priv is good ammo at a good price and the brass is great to make your favorite reloads. In todays market any good brass is worth picking up at a good price. If your gun shoots that particlur load well thats a big plus. Never even seen T.A.P. training but regular T.A.P. looks cool but never preformed any better that regular Hornady and never good enough to justify the cost.I.M.O. My choice is LC surplus brass and 77 smk over TAC for all my ar15 work but all my 5.56 run 1/7 twist. If I found any Priv at a good price I would grab it . Good luck.

I have some that I shoot out of my Savage 110 seems to work well. For me it groups at 1/4 inch same as the Hornady 75 gr. A-max. I have some TAP but as of yet haven't use any kind of high dollar to shoot paper with for me. I like it it's cheaper and most of all the rifle likes it. So works for me.

JP 18" 1:8" twist. TA11H ACOG.

I had the center of the dot "zeroed" with XM193 @ 100yds.

I shot 5 of the PVRI 75gr match at the upper-left target. They grouped on the lower-left target. I clicked the scope up, shot 5 more. Then clicked again and shot 5 more.

So 15-shots (3x 5-shot groups) on the left with PVRI 75gr match.

Then I shot 5 of the 75gr Hornady TAP Training on the top-right target. Note 4 of the 5 shots are touching.

This isn't a great scope / target combo for groups, but I felt the groups were markedly different.

that looks god awful. are you sure everything is ok with your setup? and you didnt get lucky on that 4 group touching with the TAP? cause look at that 5th one! My gun shoots better than that with brown bear crap.

I reload the Prvi Partizan 75 grain bullets. You can buy them at Grafs.com.

Pros:
1. My accuracy loads get me the same 0.25 MOA groups out my 1-8 twist ABS/Rock carbon barrel as my Nosler custom competitions (bolt gun). On my AR15, my accuracy group up to this point is 0.7 MOA. All are 5 shot groups.
2. Very attractively priced

Cons:
1. Wider weight variation than the American made bullets (well, minus Barnes anyways). I have to weight sort them to get my 0.25MOA groups
2. Hollow point noticeably larger than my Noslers. Maybe lower BC?
3. Copper jacket a bit soft. I do notice deformation rings around the hollow point tips after seating them with my Lee bullet seating dies.

FYI, I have a N4 SPR and have observed the same problem and in fact had it happen twice in one range session. As you can imagine, it was quite embarassing when my "high speed" rig lays an egg if front of a crowd not once but twice. Solution... simply ammunition. Hornady and Black Hills run flawlessly. Save the bulk crap for a Colt or a Stag! PS. The website gives a warning to the same effect.

so your saying it groups at best a quarter minute or all the time???

I use 175g PRVI match grade for my 308 and they are great. I have a surgeon (made by GAP) and the ammo works well with the rifle. At 300yds i put 3 rounds in touching each other. Environmentals were good sunny day and a light breeze @12 o clock.

Not sure if they make a match grade for the .223

I found the 175 PRVI in my 5R and GAP Crusader ok for short line, but doesn't have enough power/bc to do 800-1000 tight enough for the norcal monthlies. At 1k they definitely don't "crack" but "pop", may not be supersonic.

Re: Prvi Partizan 75 grain 223 match ammo?

I have shot a lot of the bullets as hand loads. Not as good as SMK but it is a solid moa or less bullet. The guys over at nationalmatch.us are not fans. Most of them would tell you to shoot something better but cheap at that close range stuff then switch over to your good stuff for the longer range shooting. The way I look at it is why should I shoot a very expensive bullet only 200yds when a pull down M-193 bullet will do the exact same thing but with only a click or two for wind?

I believe this bullet is a FMJ rather than an OTM design. I bought some at a gun show and they did not shoot well at all. I called the importer and he told me that these bullets were not imported as a component. I'm confused, is this the same bullet or do they make an OTM 175 grain?
