Gunsmithing Question about Cerakote over AL Anodize

I need to have a Ruger 10/22 SBR receiver coated. I don't want the factory anodize removed to bare metal, I just want a light brush blast for anchor pattern. Will Cerakote work with just a light brush blast?

Per Cerakote, it needs blasting but can be done at a lower PSI that doesn't completely remove the anodize layer. This video @ 4 min explains it.
