What is the longest cartridge case in each group of these case head diamters?

The case head diameters I have listed are approximate, as long as the ones you list are within a few thousands it will be fine. I am not looking for any rimmed calibers or belted magnums.

<span style="text-decoration: underline"><span style="font-weight: bold">Case Head</span></span>
<span style="font-weight: bold">~.378"</span>= 5.6 x 50 Magnum @ 1.968"

<span style="font-weight: bold">~.445"</span>=

<span style="font-weight: bold">~.473"</span>=

<span style="font-weight: bold">~.534"</span>=

<span style="font-weight: bold">~.588"</span>=

If I missed a <span style="text-decoration: underline">major</span> case head diameters please feel free to add it. I know there are others out there but I am not looking for obscure ones.

Thanks
Dolomite

Re: Question regarding cartridge length

The .445, of course the 7.62 x 39 and it's variants. The .473 is the .30-06 class and possibly if memory serves me the .280 by a RCH. Then the .375 H&H basic with .532 head... I don't go into the next recoil zipcode.

Re: Question regarding cartridge length

Here is what I have for case lengths:

~.378"= 5.6 x 50 Magnum @ 1.968"

~.445"= 7.62x39 @ 1.524

~.473"= 280 Remington @ 2.540

~.534"= Any of the RUM's @ 2.850

~.588"= 338 Lapua @ 2.724

If anyone sees any glaring mistakes with these please let me know. I am working off the list at stevespages.com which isn't 100% but has most of the cartridges.

Thanks
Dolomite
