Any QuickLoad users got a workable substitute? My first step in load development is always an OBT work-up so I really need the QL data or a reasonable facsimile.
I bought the most current QL data update this past summer but it doesn't cover XBR. I searched the Internet and found references to XBR being close to ADI AR 2206 or 2206H or even IMR 3031. I tested them all in QL against my .308 155 Scenar particulars. The ADIs were within 20 fps of each other and 3031 was more than 100 fps hotter than either (40-gr charge wt). Reports are that the XBR is even faster than 3031 (much less the two ADIs), which makes me wonder if they're only using those powders just to approximate XBR's Pmax.
