Gunsmithing R700 not ejecting empty cases

I'm going to guess that the ejector plunger is sticking. Check that the ejector plunger can easily move and that it is sticking out far enough to be close to the front of the bolt.

I have replaced the extractor and stretched the plunger spring out a little but still does not eject brass. It looks like the brass is getting pushed more down than o of receiver. rth1800 I have no idea what you are talking about with stoning. Anyone that could help me figure this out I will M my phone number to them.

I've got a 224 R700 that does this when you slide the bolt back slowly. If I run it like I mean it, it flips into a nice little pile next to the rifle. I did remove the ejector and relieve the slot a bit, to give it a bit more stroke and push on the ejection.

Basically, the brass rides the RH side of the action on the extraction, and doesn't clear the action all the way before the ejector flips it. If I run the bolt quick, then it works every time. Maybe replacing the extractor would let it hold the brass a hair longer? We will find out soon.

For those of you wondering why my rifle was failing to extract brass. The extractor was wore out. I replaced it and the new extractor was not worth a crap. So I replaced it again and it works good. I have a US Optics TPAL setting on if. The brass was hitting the wind age cap so I got some medium height rings. All problem is solved
