Raising comb height- product suggestions?

Hey all. This is for a shotgun build, but the same principles apply. I'll be needing to raise the comb height by about 1.5", and I'm perfectly content with something added aftermarket (i.e., no desire to go permanently modifying it). Stock packs like the Blackhawk are fine, but obviously sit too low. Those old style M14/Garand sniper packs are neat and are probably high enough, but the leather and lace look doesn't exactly work here

So, what would you recommend?

kick-eze cheek pads. but im not sure you can get the height you need

Eagle stock pack with a piece of cut up mouse pad (rubber/foam) under the pack. You can customize the height based on the number or thickness of the padding material under the pack.

+1 on mouse pads

Its pretty redneck, but it works. Plus, there's nothin like putting 5 dollar mouse pads on a 2000+ dollar gun.

As stated above, cut up a mouse pad to the height you need and duct tape it in place. Cover it with a stock pack of your choice.

Or just go with mouse pads/tape/pack.

D&E Scope-Eze comb pads from Brownells. The tallest model goes up to 1.5". They are on page 323 of the #62 catalog. I've used a couple for years, good gear.
