any how pleas let me know your thoughts and what i may need to tweak these rounds

ran a lubed patch and a dry patch after each 5 rd group

Re: range report

All the way to 46gr?

I was reading some other post and a guy was haveing problems that high, so these rds I pulled and dropped the gr down , best gr at 43.5 fig I would go up slow from there
say 43.8gr, 44.1gr, and 44.4gr give or take a .1

The 150gr sp, what should I do there go higher all together or play with the gr from the 2nd set? maybe play with over all length

And as far as cleaning , I was reading that you should clean at least a dry patch between sets .

So please explain

Thanks

Re: range report

I have been running 45 gr of varget with the 175 and 46 gr with the 168 in winchester brass only, rem and federal are thicker so downoad a bit. you can also load them a bit longer to reduce pressure a bit, at 2.825 all my load group sub .5 MOA at 100 and I can work the bolt with one finger.
you don't need to swab your barrel that much but go ahead if you want to, just try without sometimes to come to your own conclusions, in a 308 my experiance is that you can shoot up to 300 rds withouit cleaning at all and still be .5 MOA
your call bud. just trying to help a fellow shooter.
cheers.

Re: range report

Start working up the ladder with powder charges. I had similar results in my 700 and they didnt really tighten up until roughly 45g. (My current working sweet spot is 45.3g Varget- thats with 168g AMAX, CCI 200, COL at 2.815. Sits around .5-.6 with a dirty bore.

Re: range report
