i have a leica crf 1600 and it works great. I like that it's so compact and I have ranged objects well beyond 1600 yards with it. This is probably a problem with a lot of rangefinders, but it's hard to range a animal at long distance unless there is something a lot larger than the animal close to it to hit with the rangefinder.
