You know, the high school that my daughter just graduated from is a very liberal school. They let the kids be themselves. They give them more freedoms than any other school in the state. They even let them eat and drink sodas in class. There are some strange characters in that school. But...it’s the best public high school in the state, and a very difficult school. Only the best and brightest in Caddo Parish go to that school. That said, they don’t pull any of this PC bullshit. My daughter read Huck Fin in English class last year as a Junior, and there was no revisionist BS at all. They also sneak in a prayer whenever they can during school events. There was one said last week before her graduation, AND the color guard posting the colors, were carding M1 Garands.
