I am looking to build a large frame AR in a 6mm caliber. At the moment I don't really care which one (6mm creed/SLR/lapua/XC/dasher/etc). However I do intend to go through them quickly and prefer not to wait for custom work every time. Is there a company that keeps them on the shelf? Prefer 1-7 twist for the 110 SMK.

That actually looks pretty good. About the price point I'm looking for, although I could do without the fluting. I guess I can concede the 110 SMKs and use a different bullet.

Ended up going with JP. Higher price point, but includes High pressure bolt that I would need anyways.

From looking around it seems like the longest and highest BC bullets don't work that well as they have feeding issues. So 1-8 may be all I need.

I didn't realize JP was making 6 Creed barrels. The last paragraph on the barrel listing page is important, factory 6 Creed brass is a little short on headspace.

"If you have new cases that are at minimum on the gauge or below, use the Hornady 105 BTHP loaded to 2.740” or a bit longer to give a soft seat and force the case head to the bolt face. In other words, you will headspace off the bullet, not the shoulder. This will allow the case to fire form and set the shoulder forward on the first fire. This minimizes case stretch in front of the web that could result in a premature case failure."
