Hey guys, my dad has a really old 3-9x40 trijicon wide scope. It is beautifully clear glass, but the tritium is almost all burned up. It looks like it has replaceable "vials" ... it actually has a selector ring that you spin around if you want amber, red or green. Pretty neat! Anyways, Yall think trijicon even makes replacement vials for it? Or would they take it in and fix it or give a discount on a new accupoint or something? What do yall think? thanks a lot!

Get in touch with Trijicon and have them give you the low down on what they can offer in terms of servicing the scope for you. I have had excellent service from them in the past on ACOGs that needed tritium replacement. Also, depending on the true age of the scope in question and the specific model, some have 10yr/15yr warranties on the tritium lamps (10 for basic tritium optics and 15 for those with fiber optic).

Here you go: https://www.trijicon.com/na_en/contact/index.php

Good luck!

As stated above call Trijicon to get answers.

To help with your phone call tell them your model is a Spectrum 3-9x40. Their internal MFG code was #TR02 & the list price from that era was $569.00

I had one of these many years ago & still have some of the sales literature from that era.

You can buy trit vials on cpf (candlepowerforums) and do it yourself.

Or sell it to me and I will stick it on my new cz 22lr.
