Reasonable 16" M4 barrel in 1x7 or 1x8

Can anyone recommend a reasonable 16 inch M4 barrel in 1x7 or 8? M4 cuts would be great, but not mandatory.

Has anyone tried a Black Hole Weaponry P3 1x8 M4 tube? I also noticed Lothar Walther has a M4 barrel they'll make for you too. Not sure how much.

Any suggestions would be welcomed. I am not ready for a $400 plus M4 blaster barrel, otherwise I'd have Compass Lake turn me a Douglass and be done with it.

Look at BCM. Theirs are all in the twist you're looking for and have a wide selection of different profiles to choose from at good prices.

BCM as well as ADCO has a number of good choices. I was wondering if there are any I can order directly from the mfg.

RRA and Daniel Defense have some ~200 buck ones that look decent too.

I read that some of the DD M4 barrels that can be bought now for about $168 have undersized gas ports.

Probably at the high end of your price range, but I've been looking at the Lilja for $300. 17, 20 or 23". They are rifled with an 8" twist rate and chambered with a .223 Wylde chamber reamer.

Anyone try Lothar Walther barrels? They make a SS 1x8 Wylde 223 M4 for $175. Someone told me La Rue uses Lothar Walther barrels.

+1. I've got a WOA barrel on the way. You can also buy a matched bolt with the barrel. Great company to deal with.

just put one on my wifes AR SWEEEEEET!!!

it is the 16" m4 with poly 3 1x8. it shot at just over 1 moa with 69gr federal.i had a crappy trigger and a junk simmons scope on it at the time..

I'm getting a 16" BCM (stripped M4 SOCOM). They seem to have a great array of options. Thanks for the lead.

Why M4 cuts? Are you going to launch a grenade? Otherwise, you will loose rigidity for nothing. JMO

BArrels can be fluted, or reduced in dia. to reduce weight, cutting a notch in them is foolish if you have any interest in accuracy.

Go to www.sabredefence.com they sell awesome barrels. I've put together a few M4s with their barrels. The are fluted and highly accurate. 1:8 twist

My wife has a 16" sabre defence M4. It's got a geissele 2 stage trigger and she's running a T1 microdot. The gun is highly accurate.
