I've been eye-balling the HMR but amazingly not finding anything clear about re-barreling them, especially for a rifle that has "match" in the name. Saw a couple posts here from back in '18 that aren't too promising, and wondering if there's more of a market for this? I'm a little surprised given the (apparent) popularity of the rifle (and other Bergaras).

Anyone know who's doing these (well), and what pricing looks like?

Any gunsmith worth a shit can rebarrel a Bergara. If you are looking for a remage nut type barrel no one has one available, at least that I know of. BPI the Bergara importer did rebarell in the past they did mine, then they stopped.
Give them a call and ask them.

Oh yea LRI is Long Rifles Inc.

Have you contacted Customer Support to see if they'd do it?

FYI - Bergara will do it for $500 BUT it has to be the same original length, contour, and you have to send the entire rifle in so they can perform their accuracy test/verification. I asked about just sending in the BA and they said no. So, for those of us considering moving that barreled action in to a different chassis, just don't toss or sell your factory stock cause you'll have to drop it back in to ship it back (which will increase your shipping cost a touch also). I could see myself wanting a different contour and maybe length, so sending in to Bergara probably wouldn't be ideal.

So, curious what these other smiths are charging.

More than $500 for a shouldered with threaded muzzle and cerakote.
I can see them only wanting to use the original contour as they are not going to inlet the stock.

I reached out to Preferred Barrel Blanks and they said you can just go through one of their pre-fit remage barrel orders on the site, then send in the action, and they'll do the rest. So we're talking $490 (plus shipping both ways) for a new barrel, threaded but without any of the add-ons like Cerakote or fluting, customized by you upon order, that they'll install. Not bad at all, and I've heard great things about their barrels.
