recoil pad

ordered a richard's microfit thumbhole precision stock for my 03a3 and it's finally showing up tomorrow. yes i know but they're the only people who make a thumbhole stock for the 03a3 so moving on.....

i'm a big sissy when it comes to recoil and have to wear a past shoulder pad to help with the kick from the 54.2 gr's of h4350 behind the 208 amax. so which pads would y'all suggest?

I've always enjoyed the KickEez pads, but the Limbsaver pads also seem to do the trick for alot of folks

My shoulder pocket used to get bruised and beat up after a day of shooting. Not anymore after I put on a pachmayr decelerator slip on pad.
I really like the slip on type, stays on tight and can easily be removed. Its really soft rubber, plus it looks pretty damn good.

LImbsaver if you are looking for a permanent fixture, for slip-on I like the Beartooth, neoprene and is very low profile. If you have a stock pad over it the pad blends with the pack. Recoil Pad Kits | Beartooth Products
