I keep my old brass and range pick up stuff for one of the recycling business in Dallas. Today they quoted $1.95 per pound for "yellow brass". What range of prices could be expected across the nation?

Haven't checked into prices around here lately but was wondering what the requirements are for accepting rifle/pistol brass from others. Last time I sold which was 4-5 yrs ago the local buyer required that all primers must be removed whether spent or not. He just wouldn't take anything that wasn't for fear of some live primers. Anyone ever sold rimfire brass? Just curious.
