Hey everyone, I've just started getting into 3-gun comps and i'm looking for some 1st hand experience with what kind of reloads yall are making to compete with. I'm an experienced reloader for AR, Precision, and pistol but no experience with shotgun. I am in need of info about the components you use and what type of stages your using them for. Here's what I was thinking I was gonna try for ( Forget the fact that you cant find anything right now, Lol!)

0-200yd AR

55gr hornady FMJBT
LC brass
Tac powder (this isn't set just looking for something that meters better than H335 through my LNL AP)
CCI small rifle primer

200-600yd AR

Some type of heavier mag length V-max or AMAX
LC brass
Varget
CCI small rifle primer

Glock .40S&W (dont have a 9 so this is it)

MBC Cast 155gr SWC
Dont know about powder
Mixed brass
CCI pistol primers

Shotgun

No Clue [:D]

Thanks for the help guys

I like to run 165s at 1k thru my 40 to make PF.

As far as different loads for your AR I would just stick witht he same and get to know it good if I were you. look into the 60-70 gr (never told us your barrel twist but any 223 will shoot those fine) BTHP bullets, ones you can find cheap enough to shoot alot of.

Are you running the factory barrel in your Glock? It's not recommended that you run cast bullets in the factory barrel although there are people that do it with no problems. If it were me I would run a lone wolf barrel if I was going to be shooting casts. I run plated bullets on top of Power Pistol and they run great.

I'm running a KKM barrel in the glock so I should be GTG. See i'm running the Berry's/Power pistol combo right now with good success. I'm just looking for a cheaper round that will do what I need. Ive heard great things about MBC so I wanted to give them a try. I guess I need to check with my local matches and see if they check for power factor. I could always go with a 180gr.
As far as the AR, Im just trying to optimize cost/performance/accuracy in finding a good set of loads. Any reccomendtions on bullet types for the AR and its a 1-in-9 twist S&W
