I’m just trying to make cheap and fun sub loads for my suppresses 300BLK.

I have a 8” barrel 300BLK and right now a shop by me sells a 215g Polly coated bullet for $50 per 250 bullets. Figured if I can get these 150g bullets to a subsonic velocity, it will be cheaper. I don’t know if this is possible but I’m sure someone has tried it.

I’m using CFE black

Interested as well. Have a bunch of 147g pulls, and the local store has trailboss on the shelf. Hodgson shows 6g will get a 150g bullet to a little under 900fps. Not sure if it will cycle the action or not.

We used to shoot 150g cast bullets subsonic in the 30/06. It was my dad's, practice with the deer rifle, but don't waste too much powder, load. He doesn't like to burn up powder and barrels like me. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Bolt gun is easy and will work well. It's a garbage disposal setup. Pretty much any 30 Cal bullet and most pistol and mag pistol powders will work. Very fun and effective for shortage times.

In your ar it will likely be a single shot if your gas setup is normal. Just not enough gas on a subsonic charge. Fun still, especially on a side charger. The 150 class bullets do very well if you don't mind the sonic noise, so worst case scenario is use them like that!
