Hi all, just looking for any recommendations on steel scope mounts/rings (prefer uni mount system) for my .300 WinMag. i'm mounting a Vortex PST on it. Currently have the nightforce rail and uni mount but thats most likely will be sold with the Leupold Mk4 scope thats in it.
Will need a brand that will with stand the recoil of the Win Mag.
seen the Spuhr mounts but they are aluminium, (are these strong enough for a magnum?) and if so would i need to replace the the steel rail on my rifle with an aluminium one? Oh and what height rings etc? the action is bedded in an AI chassis.
