Remington 700 PSS C prefix

I ended up with an unfired Model 700 PSS with 24" barrel topped with a Redfield LE-12 scope. I decided to do some looking at it after a month and it has a C prefix in the SN. It looks like these are popular with people doing M40 builds recently. I guess I will keep this since it should be a good shooter and I need a 308 bolt gun in the safe.

Nice. I have a 'E' prefix varmint synthetic that I keep thinking about using as donor for an m40a3 build but it shoots so well I can't bring myself to do it....yet. Enjoy your rifle.
