Replacement OTF Knife?

Lost a Benchmade Claymore in the field (Shitting at work story). Looking at either a Kershaw Livewire or an Ultratech D/E OD Standard. I know the answer is Ultratech bit wanted to make sure I wasn't missing out.

I love my Microtechs, also look at Guardian Tactical. I have the recon 035 in a tanto that is legit.

I too need a new OTF. I carried the same one for 10 years until some prick at work decided to steal it, they said I was full of shit and he got fired for stealing a few months later surprise surprise

I love my Microtechs, I favor the troodons and Scarabs, I found the Ultratech a bit too small for my preference. Spendy and they like to be kept clean but I always have one on me. I also like the S/E’s or T/E’s as opposed to the D/E’s. Just my .02.

Definitely Microtech. The Ultratechs are nice, but yes just barely on the small side. If you can, get one with some texturing. The black one in the pic below is a Makora, which is just an Ultratech with some nice added touches. The grip tape is a big help. I also prefer the Combat Troodons and Scarabs.

The Ultratechs now come in an upgraded "Zero Blade Play", which makes them smoother in operation.
