What is bringing higher resale value? Surgeon built, AI built, Cadex built, McMillian built vs Custom builds??

like the others said AI, but they usually cost more to start.
on the flip side if you are looking to buy any of those options new, buy the AI and you dont worry about resale..

Buy second hand so you don't take the initial hit and all the big names will hold their value about the same after the initial drop.

As posted here it's damn near impossible to wear out an AI. And if you have a newer quick change barrel then you can swap out a worn barrel for a new one in a couple minutes.

Others depreciate as the barrel gets more rounds through it. So it's not just the initial depreciation that gets you.
