Once again the training cadre from Ronin Combat Strategies put on a truly first class training experience.
Sept 1 & 2 both were awesome days of shooting on steel from 100-1000yds. Training exercises included dot drills, unknown target engagement, alternative shooting positions, engagement from barricades, variable environmental factors (wind/mirage reading), hold over/under development for rapid engagement, among many more topics & teaching points.
Primary instructors Jason, Randy, and John kept the class pace moving to the speed of each shooter's ability. Instructors and course of fire challenged each student to optimize his experience and expand his abilities. Beyond trigger time, this course also provided quality classroom/lecture time on related practical issues including range estimation, wind calls, calculations, etc.
This class was also suported by Colonial Armory who demo'ed Thunder Beast Cans.
I would encourage anyone in the MidSouth Area or beyond to check the Ronin Combat Strategies calendar and get on the roster for the next Precision Long Range class.
