Thought I’d post a fun little mod I came up with on the cheap for my RPR. I have a Bergara 6mm HMR and I was thinking of ways to build a bag rider for it. That’s when I came up with this nifty solution that I tried first in the RPR.
It’s nothing more than a section of 1” Delrin rod and a 1” Leupold scope ring. The RPR already has a pic rail in the stock. It’s a surprisingly sturdy bag rider on the cheap. No shake or shimmy in it at all. I believe a 12” section of delrin was $13 on Amazon. The ring is something we all have. Not that you need a bag rider on a .22 but it proved the concept.
