Got an M1A with a Gen 3 scope mount on it that I am trying to get off. It is going to be replaced by a Sadlak or GDI in the near future. Is there a set screw that keeps that dove tailed piece mounted to the receiver? If so, what size of allen wrench or other tool do I need to get it out. Unless I start to beat the hell out of that piece, it doesn't want to come off. Any tips?
