I am searching for the sako TRG 22 and 42 long MMRS rails to install on my rifles that do not have this from the factory. Does anyone know where to find these rails or who has them? I found the sako parts catalog and the parts are listed on page 10/11 as Part Number 13 (trg22) and 14 (trg42). Any Insight would be appreciated. My goal is to get one long uninterrupted top rail to facilitate clip ons. Catalog link below. Photo for reference of what my goal is. Thanks

I've seen an ITRS or two for sale. Never an MMRS.

Other than, for example, a Pau-Tac chassis I consider your chances slim reaching your goal.

I do wish you luck in your search though.

Brownells used to get them in once in a blue moon and put them on the website. Havent seen them in stock for years. They were issued as part of a sws contract Sako had with India for TRG42s in 338 lapua mag. I believe Kuwait also received 42s in similar configurations.

Check with KRG to see if they make anything similar.

Beretta has the itrs in stock now but I’m really holding out for the MMRS. I missed out on a full MMRS rifle on GB not long ago and another here on the hide. Brownells supposedly has them on order but no eta

If you want something bad enough, you will find a way to obtain it. The MMRS is def worth the wait as its the best accessory for a ‘22/‘42 IMO.

I’ve seen a trg 42 300wm here with the mmrs for sale. Search the forum, maybe it’s still available

It sold. I wanted it but the stars weren't aligned at the time (replace the AC for the house, car for my son, etc etc etc).

If someone finds a source for them, I am game.
If you know the MMRS part number, the best and fastest option is to call Eurooptic and place an order.
I did the same a few times for the M10 parts.

I sent them an email. From my understanding the part is discontinued by Sako but who know, maybe we'll get lucky?

I wonder if they ship to the US. I'll have to contact them when I have some time.
They're pretty popular in Europe, so I imagine you'd find at least on retailer there who'd send it over.

Whatever else one might think about his approach, Richard Utting has a video or two on YouTube that shows them in action, so that might help you check it out a bit more first.

Dragging this thread back up, there are some SA MMRS kits in the BUSA inventory. In the midst of ordering one for an old company TRG-22.
Good to hear! I need to order one for my TRG-42.
Last I saw the TRG-22 MMRS kits had been discontinued a while ago. I haven't hear of availability of those as opposed to the TRG-42 kits.

Primary Tactical (never have done business with, so take it with a pound of salt) has a few at 1400 smokies. Might be something worth checking out if you’re still on the hunt or others that may be.

All existing TRG 42 owners should pressure SAKO to upgrade their rifles to the A1 chassis and livery. Because this upgrade is possible.

On the SAKO customer service page, there is a statement saying "We know that many of our customers want to upgrade, but the upgrade is not possible at this time." We must apply pressure.

The reason for not being able to upgrade to a A1 chassis is availability, if I'm correctly informed. The numbers are simply that there is not enough demand for a chassis at about $3500-5000. (I've asked Sako as directly as possible).

A KRG W3 or a SICS would be a better option at the moment...

I'm ready to pay 5000$ for the A1 Chassis, I think it's not too expensive, it's worth it. But I know they don't offer it for sale separately.

I always thought this monopod was a neat concept, possibly picked up by another manufacturer for any rifle with a stock picatinny rail. But $450+ - I guess if you have to ask the price...
