I am very interested in this can for my 700P in 300WM. i like the idea of having a brake on the rifle when shooting unsuppressed and am looking for anyone who owns this system in the QD version and/or the TOMB version. At fist glance the TOMB looks like a winner, but with the ever present anticipation of a growing collection of hosts, the QD looks good for a 308 AR type in the future.

I am on board 100% with the company and the quality of the product. I am wondering what your impressions are with the 2 mounting options. How secure is the lock up on the QD?

Thanks for the input.

Re: SAS Arbiter Mounting

I have been running both for several years at this point and it is really a choice you make very easily. The QD is only available in the TI, the "TOMB" is available in both SS and TI. Both offer you the capability to install now on any 1/2, 5/8, 3/4, M18x1.0 and 1.5mm host. The "TOMB" muzzle brake is being redesigned now which will include going from the triple chamber down to a dual chamber muzzle brake, appearance will reassembly the QD without the dual nose bayonet lugs and will function just the same as the current "TOMB" brake just cleaner appearance and better performance. After working with both, the clearest advantage to the QD is being quicker and less moving parts to keep up with, where the TOMB has a thread protector which has to be removed to install the suppressor and kept up with so not to lose as well. Hope this helps and if you have any questions feel free to contact me at the office this week to discuss.
