Just wondering if any one could tell me what ring height to get. I've got a 10fpc-k with egw 20 moa base the bell on my scope measures 58 mm. I've got low Burris XTr rings now pretty sure they won't work just looking for some advice on what rings to get. thanks!!!

Re: Savage 10 in an XLR ring height

I am running a Vortex Viper on mine and using medium height NF rings. It has enough clearance but a front scope cap won't fit without rubbing. It's not 58mm but hopefully that helps you a little.

Re: Savage 10 in an XLR ring height

I had ALMOST the identical setup as you, OP...Savage 10fcp-k in an XLR, but I had an SWFA SS 5-20x50, with a Butler Creek cap that made the OD 60mm, inside of Burris XTR's. Due to the handguard, I had to use the mediums.

Good to know I thought I might have to get the extra highs according to some posts. I may just get the highs to make sure there is enough room. Thank you

BTW i'm running a Sightron SIII 6x24x50 if anyone is running the same scope by chance.
