I do some 600yrd f class shooting with my savage 6.5CM 10ba but the trigger is too heavy I evan put a rifle basics trigger in it but cant get it low enough without slam firing any suggestions on other triggers or help would be greatly appreciated thanks again

Spring from the savage target trigger in your original trigger, you should be able to get it at a lb or a bit lower.
Your rifle basics trigger will do it but it is kind of a bitch to get adjusted right and not slam fire. It took me at least an hour of adjusting to get it set just right. Mine is maybe 1lb and very crisp. I run jewell hvr set at about 1 lb in my Remingtons and defiance action and honestly the rifle basics is just as good. Just keep messing with it!!
Thank u I ordered a different trigger from rifle basics st least different from the one I had and yes it was a bitch to adjust but much better. Consistent 7 oz now have not had time to try it but hoping this weekend
