Gunsmithing Savage DBM.. Part Deux..

Re: Savage DBM.. Part Deux..

Good to hear. now if the stock manufacturers would catch up and put out some quality stocks for the savage LAs

Re: Savage DBM.. Part Deux..

actually I stand corrected. I see that B&C has just come out with a A2 tactical stock for the savage Long actions. So that is interesting.

AW - 2.980" OAL </div></div>

Are those lengths "recommended", as in leaving a certain amount of clearance between the bullet and the mag body, or is that the actual inside length of the magazine?

Thanks.

The reason why I ask is that I have a Savage w/factory DBM that is about 3" long inside and I was wondering if I would lose any OAL using the AW mags. Apparently, the answer is no. I hope you can get the AW mags to work, that would definitely be the way to go.
