Nightforce calls them beauty rings. They protect the ring cap threads if you run your scope without turret covers. I don't know why you think its edited?

Maybe it's just a shadow. Just looks weird with the NF logo over the black in the corner of the logo and looks sunk into the counter top almost. Was Just curious. Lots of weird stuff happening these days on sale ads so just curious.
