Ok, here's the dillema.

I got the SN-3 mounted and have just a millimeter or two between the objective and the barrel. I can get the USO flip cap on, but I can't rotate the ERGO well with it in place. The tabs and hinge hit and won't let me run through the full range.

I am thinking of replacing it with a cap like the one that comes on the S&B or Hensoldt.

Anyone know where I can buy one for a 44mm Objective SN-3? I have a rubber Butler Creek "bikini" cover, but I would rather have a hard cap to better protect the objective.

Re: Scope Caps

Faced with the exact same dilemma, I cut the "hinge" off my butler creek and put the cover in my pocket when I remove it to shoot.

Cheers,

Bill

Re: Scope Caps

Sometimes you can grind enough off the hinge to make it work with the Ergo. Sometimes you cant. Is this an option?

I think I have a couple that fit USO 44's that were ground for clearance. If you would like I can send you one, assuming I can round it up.

Call USO and get a screw-in sent to you.
