Rifle Scopes scope case suggestions

I recently purchased Larue's QD scope mount and plan on using it between two rifles and also while hiking in the mountains/thick undergrowth. I want to place the scope in a case of some kind while its in my pack.

Any of yall ever use something like this? The one case that I have seen online is huge with a shoulder strap. Im wanting something that isnt much larger than the scope and can fit in a pack. Wishful thinking??

It's a scope, it's meant to handle severe recoil, just wrap it in a hand towel and call it good.

Or Leupold had neoprene scope covers at one time, not sure if they still do.

Devtron Scopecoat neoprene cover. The XP-6 is a 6mm thick monster.

You could get one of the WWII scope cases or make your own with some PVC pipe and some padding...

I'm not talking about putting it in my range bag and driving down the road. While hunting, I'm out for days at a time with everything u can imagine being carried in my pack. When it's finally time to make the hard work pay off, I'd rest a little easier knowing flammable liquids or sharp objects haven't somehow screwed with its accuracy. Prob wouldn't happen, but Murphy's law is a pain in the butt when your out that far.
