1 WEEK LEFT: This Target Haunts Me Contest
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Im looking for something that has mil adjustment and would like low capped turrets if possible, if not at least covered. I would like to keep price under 400. I have looked at tons online and not run across what im looking for.
The only scopes I'm aware of that has capped turrets and mil adjustments is the premier light scopes and the Burris MTAC. The premier is way over your price range and the Burris is just slightly over.
I'd check out the Weaver tactical 3-10 from Midway. It's got a mildot reticle, mil turrets, its made in japan and goes for $300 when its on sale.
Just so i dont turn the turrets by accident. I might spend more if i need to. Gona try to make this a budget rifle. 3-9 or 4-12 power. I got a couple viper pst but they are a lil higher power than i want for a deer rifle. The reason im trying to keep cost down is bc i am currently have a 6.5cm being built and my wife is wanting new kitchen appliances .
I've been looking for something similar too. Something low profile and sleek (like a Leupold VX-1 or 2) but with a Mil scale reticle. Short, Capped turrets that will only be used for zeroing and the reticle will be used for holdovers etc.
Dont like the generic BDC reticles offered in todays hunting scopes. Dont want a full blown "tactical" scope with big ugly turrets.
I really wouldn't worry about accidentally turning the knobs, I can't remember the last time I had one turn on me when bumped and I hunt with all my rifles too.
