I know what a mauser is. I also have a springfield. Neither have a slide. They have bolts and raceways. Words matter. Correct nomenclature matters. Using the wrong words makes people suspicious that you maybe deceitful.
I truly hope no one would dishonor the people who have fought and sacrificed to brag and get attention on the interwebs. That however still happens often. That's why people asked for clarification.
