Can Seekins .338 Bottom metal be adapted to fit on to a surgeon XL ?

The Surgeon XL comes with bottom metal .... so why would you need to buy another?

It has mags that allow bullets to be seated out for OAL of 3.90"

From what I've been told the Seekins won't fit in the XL. However AI is making a CIP length .338 Mag. This will give you a little bit more room to work with. Badger will hopefully be changing their bottom metal to fit the new mags.

Thanks Sisu, the mag length has become an issue for me...........wether thats warranted or not I am not sure but because of this I am going to chamber for .338 Norma magnum it will suit the components I have now better.
