Trying to decide between 3 rifles:

DD in 16" 308
DD in 18" 6.5
Seekins SP10 (18" 308)

It will fill a battle rifle/SPR role with emphasis on accuracy. Mostly will be for ringing steel to 300 yards (I have a RPR in 6.5 for my 1000yard range).

What are the pros/cons of each? Can get all 3 for roughly the same price. What kind of accuracy can i expect from the DD?

Will probably run it with a 2.5-10x or 4-16x ACSS optic. It will be used alongside a 12.5" 556 carbine wearing a aimpoint/mag

My brother just got an SP10 in 6.5CM. He paid 1700.00, seller said it had 300 rounds on it, not bad. Fucking thing shoots like a house on fire. I'm a big proponent of JP's rifles, but that Seekins is no slouch, and is definitely going to be giving JP a run for their money.

Suffice to say, get the Seekins.

Damn. I love spending other peoples' cash!

I would also suggest the Seekins. I do not own either one, but I have shot both. The Seekins was nicer and shot better. The DD is nice, but has a number of proprietary parts and is fairly heavy comparatively.

Just recently picked up a Seekins in 6.5cm. The first rounds through the rifle were older factory 140 Amax loads I had laying around that shot right around 3/4 inch with the best five shot group being 5/8. Started load development last week. Had a good OCW node right at 42.4 of H4350 shooting 130 hybrids 2.8 oal. Solid sub half inch group with half inch groups on each side and same general poi. Granted they are just three shot groups but the accuracy potential is definitely there. Hopefully it repeats.
